The Second graders painted rocks today to celebrate Easter and Spring Break. They had a lot of fun!

It's March Madness time in 5th grade today! They began their morning with a March Madness math review. Then they read a short informational text that explained how the tournament works and answered comprehension questions. The last activity was reading and annotating the poem, “Dear Basketball” by Kobe Bryant. The students had to write their own “Dear__” poem. They watched a short video about the poem while eating cheese balls and drinking a Kool-aid pouch.

Today was the Easter Egg Hunt for the Kindergarten classes! It did not take them long to find them all! They were so excited!
