FCCLA Bread Week is almost here! Participating club members will be taking orders until December 4th. If you haven't been approached by a student to order, call the high school with your name, phone number, and order and you will be contacted about delivery. Baking begins December 11th and wraps up December 15th.

Mrs. Hoskins' First Grade class had a busy day! They made pumpkin pie in a cup! The detectives were also on the case today to find the missing turkey. Mrs. Hoskins is happy to report that they did solve the case and the turkey has been found!

Both 4th grade classes have adopted cows for the year. Their names are Daisy and Eleanor. Last week was National Butter Day, so they made butter this afternoon. After they made it, they got to eat it! They all said it was good!

NCOE Grade School welcomed The NED Show today! The NED Show teaches kids how to be champions in life by teaching three concepts: Never give up! Encourage others! Do your best! Through stories and yo-yo tricks, the performer, Brian, kept the kids engaged and entertained as he talked through these ideas. They all loved it!

Join the NCOE Red Army Pep Club in closing out Red and White Week with Red and White Night. Dinner tickets can be purchased by students over lunch or by calling the high school office for Will Call 378-3312. Tickets are $10 a plate pre-purchase or $12 at the door. Dinner will be served from 4:30-6:30 Red and White Game will be in the high school gym with free entry at 6:00 PM. Red and White dance at the junior high gym from 7:30-10:30. Dance tickets are $5 pre-sale or $7 at the door.

The Grade School was glad to welcome the NCOE Kindness Club yesterday. This week is World Kindness Week, so these 10 amazing high schoolers came to talk to our students about the importance of being kind. They gave a presentation and did some fun activities! Thank you all for setting a great example for the younger students in our district!

The 5th Graders also made Dough Maps. They made dough at home, then fashioned it to look like different parts of the world. The final step was to paint it! They did a great job!

The 5th grade classes have done some cool activities the last few days. They did a Decimal Diner. The students received a packet to work on. They had menus at each station. They practiced adding, subtracting, rounding, and comparing decimals. It had a real world feel to the lesson. They finished the activity with a treat!
