The NCOE Student Council in conjunction with The Michael Hillegas Chapter of the NSDAR will be holding a food drive for veterans from October 1st through November 1st. We are collecting high-protein items only. Foods can be placed in the food pantry box outside the high school office doors. Also, the food pantry box will now ONLY be used for food drives for veterans in October and March. Food will also be collected at local businesses starting tomorrow. Let's see how many times we can fill the pantry box before November 1st!

Students and staff at NCOE Grade School had the chance to show their support for the family in a neighboring community who has suffered loss. Our school was proud to jump at the opportunity to show support and help out those in need from a neighboring district.

The NCOE community is known as a very caring and generous community, and at this time our neighbors are going through a loss. With that in mind, NCOE High School will be accepting donations as well as doing hat day for students for $1 on Monday Oct. 2nd. The proceeds will go to the family. The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18

Mrs. Baumgart's 8th Graders have been participating in a project called Classroom Economy. Each student has a job by which they can earn money. They then learn how to manage their finances, pay bills, etc. At the end of the month they have an auction. They had so much fun bidding and winning items!
