Congratulations to the volleyball team on their Sectional Championship over Edward's County!!! There will be a police escort through town approximately 9:30.

The Student Council teamed up with Daughters of the American Revolution to help our veterans in need by raising over $1200 worth of food. We are very grateful to all of the Veterans!!


This year at NCOE Grade School we are recognizing our Super Students, those who go above and beyond with kindness, respect, hard work, and a great attitude.
The next student we would like to recognize is Bella Healy. Bella is a 4th grader in Mrs. Lewis's class. In the playground today, Bella noticed a friend who was in need, and she responded in a way that helped the student tremendously! Thank you for your kindness, Bella! We are proud of you!


Congratulations to the NCOE volleyball team with their first round sectional win over Sesser-Valier tonight! We will play Edwards County Thursday night for the sectional championship at 6 pm at Cobden. Also, congratulations to coach Jaclyn Melton on her career 500th win!!!

Mrs. Humphreys ENGLISH III class were presenting their "How-To" Speeches. Owen Russell did a great job presenting How-To operate a fishing boat.


Student pep bus for Tuesday's (11/5) sectional game is $12 (ticket price included). If you are a member of Red Army present your ID card for a reduced rate of $10. Sign up in the office if you would like to go.

Congratulations to our Employees of the Month for October! This month's winners are Mrs. Jill Pruitt and Mrs. Sara Johnson. We are thankful for how they serve their kids and our district!

Senior Class is hosting a Pickleball Tournament November 9th starting at 9:00 am. If you are interested you can call the school or email kauten@ncoeschools.org to sign up. Minors will need parent permission, so a registration form will need to be filled out before tournament day and can be picked up or emailed. This will be a doubles tournament so find your favorite pickleball partner!


Last Friday we had a Wellness Fair at the high school. We had wonderful seasons with yoga, comfort dogs, music and art therapy, and many more.







The freshmen class is selling poinsettias from now till November 21st. The colors available are red, white, pink, red glitter, marble and ice crystals. They are $18 each and you can see a freshman to order. Pickup is December 5th from 3-5pm in the gym lobby.

We are very thankful for having the opportunity today to meet with State, County, and Local law enforcement agencies to discuss our school safety plans and procedures.
